One of the access roads within the commercial and retail area of Whiteley, Stonyfield Road connects the shopping centre to the residential areas and to the A3051 via the northern road network. The road carries a mix of commercial and residential traffic and has footpath provision along its length. Stonyfield Road is busier than the purely residential streets and serves as one of the routes connecting different parts of Whiteley without using the main Whiteley Way.
