Bluebell Way
Street guide, Whiteley
One of the principal residential roads in Whiteley, Bluebell Way runs through the central part of the development and connects several of the residential neighbourhoods. The road is lined with family homes, mostly detached and semi-detached properties built during the 1990s and 2000s. Bluebell Way has footpath connections to the shopping centre, the schools and the green corridors that run between the housing areas. The name reflects the woodland heritage of the area, with bluebells growing in the retained copses and green spaces nearby. Speed is managed by road design, with curves and narrowing points that discourage through-traffic.
