Whiteley's commercial and leisure hub with shopping centre, cinema and restaurants

The commercial heart of Whiteley, centred on the Whiteley Shopping Centre and the surrounding retail, restaurant and leisure facilities. The shopping centre, redeveloped and expanded in 2013, houses around 58 shops including M&S, Next, H&M and Boots, alongside a Cineworld nine-screen cinema and a food court. The area around the shopping centre includes Tesco, additional retail units, hotel accommodation at the Solent Hotel and Spa, and the main car parks serving the town. This is where most residents come for shopping, dining and entertainment. The area is well served by bus routes and sits directly off the main Whiteley Way access road from M27 Junction 9. Evening activity centres on the cinema and the restaurant quarter, which includes Wagamama, Pizza Express and several other chains.
